Step 1

Prepare your materials to make the ostrich.

Step 2

Paint the ball and leave it to dry. Use a toothpick make some holes on one side of the ball and put the feathers in the holes. Make one more hole in front of the feathers for the neck and two more holes at the bottom of the ball for the legs.

Step 3

Shape a piece of pipe cleaner into a fan, as seen in the picture, and join the two ends to make the head.

Step 4

Use another piece of pipe cleaner for the neck. Glue one end onto the head and secure the other end into the hole you made earlier on. Use a piece of pipe cleaner to make a leg. Fold one end of the pipe cleaner into a zig zag to form the toes and secure it into one of the leg holes you made earlier on. Make the other leg the same way.

Step 5

Fold a small piece of pipe cleaner to make the beak. Glue the beak and the eyes onto the head.
