Step 1

Print and cut out the patterns for the drum. Color them in or use them as templates to cut the patterns out of card.

Step 2

Glue the red card around the can and cut off any edges that stick out. Glue the round patterns onto the top and bottom end of the can.

Step 3

Glue the string onto the red card in a zigzag, as shown in the picture.

Step 4

Then, paint the balls yellow and leave them to dry.

Step 5

Lastly, push the sticks half way into the balls to make two drumsticks. Your drum is ready!
